  1. Why do people advertise on the ExtraTimeOnline website?
    We provide timeshare owners with a means to rent, exchange or sell their timeshare through effective advertising online and through direct contact with over 70,000 clients per week. Advertisers receive rental enquiries from our site directly to themselves and there are no listing fees.
  2. Does ExtraTimeOnline own the resorts?
    No. We offer our services to owners at the resorts.
  3. How much does it cost to list my timeshare?
    We do not charge a listing fee. If we sell your property we will charge 10% of the final sale price agreed. If we exchange your property we will charge £39.99. There is no fee if we rent your property.
  4. Is my contact information kept private?
    YES!  All personal information is stored in our secure database for our information. It will never be displayed on the website.
  5. Can I make changes to my listing(s)?
    YES!  You can contact us on sales@extratimeonline.co.uk or tel: FREEPHONE 0800 198 5001 to make changes to your listing(s) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
  6. What is a Floating Week?
    A Floating Week may be used any time during the season purchased (High, Medium or Low) based on a resort's availability. Typically, resorts will accept requests for specific weeks by the owner as soon as the annual maintenance fees are paid. Therefore, the earlier the maintenance fees are paid the better the chance that the owner can pick a specific week.
  7. What is the difference between the exchange seasons?
    In timeshare, the difference in season indicates the popularity of any particular resort at that time. The most sought-after weeks are rated as high season and the less popular weeks are rated as medium or low season weeks.
  8. Can I rent a week I have received in exchange?
    No! You can only rent out your own timeshare.
  9. Can I make an exchange and let someone else use it?
    Yes, but you will need to give the resort the name of the people who will be using the exchange so they can make a guest certificate for them.
  10. How long will it take to confirm my rental / exchange?
    Dependant on the type of week and resort in question, rentals / exchanges may take anything from 24 hours to 3 weeks. Please bear this in mind when requesting a rental / exchange, especially in high season, to allow us enough time to confirm your booking.
  11. Do I pay my maintenance fee to the resort I'm exchanging to?
    No. All maintenance fees are paid directly to the resort you OWN and not to the resort you are exchanging with.
